Artvin Çoruh University has marked another significant milestone in line with its vision of internationalisation. Under the Erasmus+ Student Learning and Traineeship Mobility Program, a total of 56 students in the 2025–2026 academic year have set off to gain educational and internship experience in Germany, Austria, Lithuania, Hungary, Malta, Poland, Portugal, and Romania.
Selected from various faculties and departments of the university, the students will have the opportunity to enhance their academic knowledge in an international environment, experience different cultures firsthand, and further develop their foreign language skills. Through learning mobility, students will attend courses at distinguished universities across Europe, while traineeship mobility will enable them to gain professional experience in institutions and organisations relevant to their fields.
Dr Hakan Gültekin, Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator at Artvin Çoruh University, emphasised that the Erasmus+ program makes a substantial contribution to students’ personal and academic development, adding that efforts to expand such international opportunities will continue with determination. The university aims to strengthen its global visibility through increasing student participation each year.
By taking part in Erasmus+ mobility, students not only invest in their own personal and professional growth, but also help enhance Artvin Çoruh University’s international representation. This important step further strengthens the university’s position within the global education network while equipping students with the skills and experience needed for the future.
