Dr. Hakan Gültekin, the director of the International Relations Application and Research Center at Artvin Çoruh University, convened with faculty members from the Faculty of Theology to share insights regarding the Erasmus+ Program and other initiatives aimed at internationalization. The meeting, which also included the participation of Prof. Dr. Ziya Şen, the Head of the Department of Basic Islamic Sciences, focused on exploring potential project ideas. During the session, Gültekin engaged with faculty members and staff to outline strategies for enhancing the university's global presence and fostering collaborations. The discussions centered around the development of new projects within the field of theology, drawing inspiration from successful Erasmus+ KA2 projects like "Back to Green" and "GreenChem" carried out by our University's Rectorate. In line with this, preparations for a project application in 2024 were initiated. The meeting delved into EU projects based in Brussels, with participants sharing their opinions and engaging in a dialogue about activities tailored specifically for the Caucasus region, with a particular focus on Georgia.
