Faculty of Forestry Bid a Fond Farewell to Its 2025–2026 Graduates

The Graduation Ceremony of the Faculty of Forestry for the 2025–2026 Academic Year at Artvin Çoruh University was held with broad participation at the Nihat Gökyiğit Congress and Cultural Center.

The ceremony was attended by the university administration, academic and administrative staff, students, and the families of the graduates. Throughout the program, students shared the excitement and pride of graduation with their families and faculty members.

The ceremony began with a moment of silence and the Turkish National Anthem. In his speech, the Dean of the Faculty of Forestry, Prof. Dr. Mehmet YAVUZ, emphasized that the graduates had successfully completed a long and dedicated educational journey and wished them success in their professional careers. He also expressed his gratitude to the academic staff and families who contributed to the students’ education and development.

During the ceremony, certificates of achievement and awards were presented to the students who ranked among the top of their class. The graduates received their diplomas and celebrated the successful completion of their university education. The event featured many emotional moments, while students and their families commemorated the occasion with photographs.

Following the traditional ceremony in which the top-ranking graduate engraved their name on the faculty graduation plaque, the graduates of the Faculty of Forestry bid farewell to university life by participating in the traditional cap-tossing ceremony. The celebration, marked by great enthusiasm and pride, received prolonged applause from the audience, including family members and faculty staff.
