Initial Progress Made on New Projects Under the TUBITAK-Georgia Cooperation Framework.

Within the scope of the 2555 bilateral cooperation call between TÜBİTAK and the Shota Rustaveli National Science Foundation of Georgia (SRNSFG), Dr. Natela Dzebisashvili, Principal Researcher at the Environmental Pollution Monitoring and Forecasting Department of the Hydrometeorology Institute of Georgian Technical University, Dr. Lecturer Hakan Gültekin, Director of the External Relations Application and Research Center from Artvin Çoruh University, and Assoc. Prof. Dr Mustafa Kemal Gümüş, Mevlana Coordinator and AÇÜ Biltekmer Director, met with the project coordinators of the opposing institution. The meeting was productive, and both parties emphasized their desire to cooperate in joint scientific projects. The participants took steps to develop new projects and conduct joint research on environmental pollution, climate change and sustainability. This meeting aims to strengthen scientific cooperation between the two countries and produce innovative solutions for environmental problems within the scope of the TÜBİTAK-SRNSFG call. This meeting, which is a start for new projects and collaborations, will allow for the further deepening of scientific relations between Turkey and Georgia.
