Motivation Seminar During the Exam Period

In collaboration with the Artvin Provincial Directorate of National Education, the Faculty of Education and the Center for Psychological Counseling and Guidance Research and Application at Artvin Çoruh University organized a “Motivation Seminar During the Exam Process” on June 2, 2026.

Held to support students preparing for the High School Placement Exam (LGS) and the Higher Education Institutions Exam (YKS), the seminar was conducted in two separate sessions targeting 8th and 12th grade students.

The program began with an opening speech by Prof. Dr. Ali KOLOMUÇ, Dean of the Faculty of Education at Artvin Çoruh University. Following this, Artvin Provincial Director of National Education Fahri ACAR delivered a speech emphasizing that, in addition to academic success, students’ psychological well-being is also crucial during the exam process.

As part of the seminar, presentations were delivered by Dr. İlknur YENİÇERİ, Director of the Center for Psychological Counseling and Guidance Research and Application; Dr. Emel UYSAL ATABAY, Assistant Professor in the Department of Guidance and Psychological Counseling at the Faculty of Education, Artvin Çoruh University; Yasin PEKER, Head of the Psychological Counseling and Guidance Services Department at the Artvin Guidance and Research Center, and Psychological Counselor Onurhan KOFOĞLU.

The seminar, which was well-attended, was designed to boost the motivation of students preparing for the exam and help them manage the exam process more effectively.
