On the third day of his official visit to Georgia, Rector of Artvin Çoruh University Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın visited the city of Kutaisi for a series of academic meetings and institutional contacts.
As part of the program, Rector Aydın met with Prof. Dr. Shalva Kirtadze, Rector of Akaki Tsereteli State University, and members of the university administration. During the meeting, the parties discussed the current academic relations between the two universities and exchanged ideas on enhancing cooperation in the fields of education, research, and project-based collaboration. It was noted that potential joint initiatives under the framework of Erasmus+ Capacity Building Projects came to the forefront.
Later, Rector Aydın and the accompanying delegation — Dr. Hakan Gültekin, Director of the Center for International Relations, and Dr. Mehmet Ali Keskin — visited the National Library of Georgia, one of the country’s oldest and most prestigious institutions with a 150-year history. Rector Aydın examined the collection of historical documents and rare works preserved at the library, received detailed information from the officials, and exchanged views on possible areas of cooperation.
