Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sıtkı BİLGİN Met with Foreign Students at Iftar

Our Rector Prof. Dr. Mustafa Sıtkı Bilgin met with international students studying at our University at the iftar dinner at the guesthouse. Students from various countries and studying at Artvin Çoruh University attended the iftar dinner. General Secretary of our University, Assoc. Dr. Muhammed ARDIÇ, our Vice Rectors Prof. Dr. Murat KİBAR and Prof. Dr. Bülent SAĞLAM, Head of Student Affairs Department Mustafa Ünver SABUNCU, Student Affairs Branch Manager Süleyman ÇELİK, Director of Foreign Relations Application and Research Center Dr. Lec. Hakan GÜLTEKİN and International Student Office Coordinator Lec. Ercan SOYSAL also attended the Iftar Dinner. After the iftar dinner held together, our Rector gave a short speech to the students about the positive attitude and tolerance of our University and its administration towards international students. After the speech, they talked with the students and asked their opinions about the expectations and suggestions of foreign students. It was stated that it was very pleasing for them, especially that the International Student Office started to work more effectively. In addition, the students also expressed interest in the fact that various organizations will be held for foreign students in the future. Another topic discussed at the dinner was that the foreign student community should now be re-established and that this community should start working more actively. It was emphasized here that students should now register to this community and the numbers should continue to increase. The iftar organization ended after mutual exchange of ideas and mutual discussion of the students' expectations.
