Our University Senate and Board of Directors Meetings Were Held at Our Hopa Campus

Artvin Çoruh University Senate and Board of Directors meetings were held on Monday, July 28, 2025, at our Hopa campus, chaired by our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın, hosted by the Faculty of Theology, Hopa Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, and Hopa Vocational School.

Prior to the meetings, our Rector, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın, met with the District Governor of Hopa, Mr. Abdullah Arslantürk, Dean of the Faculty of Theology Prof. Dr. Muhammet Yılmaz, Dean of the Hopa Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ersoy, Director of the Hopa Vocational School Dr. Cafer Genç, and members of the Senate and Administrative Board gathered at a dinner organized by the Hopa District Governor's Office at the Hopa Teachers' House.

Our District Governor Abdullah Arslantürk expressed his satisfaction with the fact that

university senate and board of directors meetings were held in our district for the first time. Our Rector Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın thanked Hopa District Governor Abdullah Arslantürk for his support to our university and our activities.

The fact that Senate and Board of Directors meetings were held at our Hopa campus for the first time in our university's history is an important step in terms of strengthening regional development and academic unity. On this occasion, we would like to express our gratitude to our Rector, Prof. Dr. İbrahim Aydın, who spearheaded the organization of these meetings in Hopa.

We would like to thank our Vice Rectors, Deans, and Vocational School Directors who participated in the AÇÜ Senate and Board of Directors meetings held at our Hopa campus.
