"The 'Young Reporters of the Environment' Program Launches as Part of the Back to Green Project"

The Turkish Environmental Education Foundation (TÜRÇEV), a partner in the project titled "Back to Green" with contract number 2022-1-TR01-KA220-YOU-000089079, organized the "Young Reporters of the Environment" program, carried out under the Erasmus+ coordination of our university. This initiative brought together students from Artvin Çoruh University. The primary goal of this special program is to enhance awareness of environmental issues and sustainability, providing a platform for environmentally-conscious young individuals to voice their opinions.
During the online meeting, Fatma Köle and Prof. Dr. Çelik Tarımcı from TÜRÇEV, along with our university's Erasmus institution coordinator, Dr. Hakan Gültekin, engaged in discussions with students regarding the program. The aim is to address future environmental challenges collaboratively. The program strives to establish a significant platform where young people can express their ideas on environmental concerns and contribute to raising overall environmental consciousness.
Furthermore, there are plans to incorporate the findings from the program into a book and an environmental education set named the "Green Book," which will be developed at the project's conclusion.
