Visiting Academics from Uzbekistan Visited the Center for International Relations Application and Research

Visiting academics from Uzbekistan, participating in the Orhun Exchange Program at Artvin Çoruh University, visited the Artvin Çoruh University International Relations Application and Research Centre. Erasmus+ Institutional Coordinator Dr Hakan Gültekin and Orhun Exchange Program Coordinator Lecturer Ercan Soysal were also present during the visit. The meeting focused on academic cooperation, student and staff mobility, and current and planned joint projects between the two universities, particularly with the academics from Kokand University in Uzbekistan who taught at the Faculty of Tourism for two weeks as part of the Orhun Exchange Program.

The importance of internationalisation in higher education was emphasised, and the contribution of the Orhun Exchange Program to strengthening academic and cultural ties between universities in the Turkic world was highlighted. At the end of the meeting, mutual goodwill was expressed, and expectations for further development of cooperation were shared. Artvin Çoruh University continues to strengthen and maintain its collaborations with academics and students from different countries in line with its internationalisation vision.
